Congratulations to Emmett See (Class of 2027), Lily Harnisch (Class of 2026), Eleanor Halsten (Class of 2026), and Molly Roettger (Class of 2027), who competed in the Minnesota Brain Bee held at the University of Minnesota on February 5. These students placed in the top 30 in a statewide competition measuring their knowledge of neuroscience to be eligible for the event. The opportunity was through the MHS Neuroscience Club, advised by MHS social studies teacher Emily Larson. Students had a chance to compete against other students, learn about neuromodulation research currently being conducted at the University of Minnesota, and tour a working lab focusing on epilepsy research in mice.
